The TARDIS: It’s bigger on the inside.
Okay guys, have I got a treat for you! First let me say that no, I did not create this. Further let me say that no, it was not designed for Dungeons and Dragons. However, what you see before you is nothing less than a map of the TARDIS, fully fleshed out and complete with a hex grid!
If you have never played Dungeons and Dragons on a hex grid before, let me assure you, it works well. Not only does it lend a bit more balance to the problematic movement system inherent in the square grid (look forward to a rant about this later), but it also makes flanking a bit more interesting and works far better for round rooms. Bursts and Blasts are a little trickier to figure out at first, but simply remember that what you are dealing with, instead of being 1 side of a square, is now the diameter of a hex.
